My discount code isn't working, what do I need to do?

Firstly double check the spelling/ accuracy of the discount code used because all codes are case sensitive (so capital letters need to be used where stated). If it still won't work please get in touch at info@rayofsoap.co.uk and we will look into it.
Can I amend my order once it is placed?

Possibly - please get in touch with us at info@rayofsoap.co.uk as soon as possible and we will do our best to make the changes you require. Unfortunately any parcels which have already been sent obviously can't be amended.
My EVRI order hasn't arrived, what do I need to do?

We do our best to dispatch orders as quickly as possible, if you haven't received a dispatch e-mail from us please contact us at info@rayofsoap.co.uk and we will look into it for you. Each dispatch e-mail is sent manually by James (and sometimes he forgets!) so not receiving an e-mail does necessarily mean your parcel is not on the way. If you have received a dispatch e-mail for an EVRI parcel please get in touch with us at the above address and we will look at the tracking details for you.
My Royal Mail order hasn't arrived, what do I need to do?

We do our best to dispatch orders as quickly as possible, if you haven't received a dispatch e-mail from us please contact us at info@rayofsoap.co.uk and we will look into it for you. Each dispatch e-mail is sent manually by James (and sometimes he forgets!) so not receiving an e-mail does necessarily mean your parcel is not on the way. If you have received a dispatch e-mail please allow 14 working days (i.e. not counting weekends) for Royal Mail orders because they do not consider parcels lost until this time has elapsed.
How do you box up parcels for posting?

For shipping we wrap up individual elements (e.g. soaps, gift boxes etc.) in tissue paper and pack them in a cardboard box, with shredded paper if necessary. We have a variety of box sizes to ensure the minimal amount of spare space in each package.
How is the soap packaging made?

We hand marble and cut every cardboard sleeve for each soap. We make the sleeves by using white card and marbling ink in water.
Why won't local free shipping work?

Local free shipping should be offered to everyone who is within a specified post code radius of Bicester. If you feel like you are close enough to qualify for free shipping but it isn't being offered to you please let us know at info@rayofsoap.co.uk.
Are all of your soaps hand made?

Yes - all of our soap is hand made by the two of us, in small batches, in our kitchen in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
Are your soaps vegan friendly?

Yes! All of our products are vegan friendly, they contain no animals products and nothing is ever tested on animals.
Do your soaps contain palm oil?

Our soaps are both palm oil and plastic free. For a full list of ingredients please find the Allergens & Ingredients tab in the footer, or follow the link from the homepage.
How should I store my soaps to maximise their life?

Our soaps will last longer if you ensure that they are not left sitting in water, a well draining soap dish is the best way to achieve this.
What is a Bomblet?

A Bomblet is a small bath bomb that is perfect for using when you only want a quick bath or for use with small children who have quicker/ shallower baths. Multiple can also be used together to make up the volume of a standard bath bomb.
Are the Bath Bombs wrapped in plastic?

No, they are wrapped in plastic free wrap that is made from sugar beet that is fully compostable. No plastic here!
How do I store my Bath Bomb/ Bomblets?

It is important to store Bath Bombs in a dry environment that is free from humidity i.e. not in a bathroom. If the Bath Bomb is exposed to too much atmospheric moisture it will start to fizz prematurely and will be less effective when placed in bath water.
